Lyra (Elena Rachinskaya) was born in the Ukrainian SSR in late 1972. Today, she resides in Germany. 
Elena's creative life started way back in her childhood. Images, words and melodies filled her world as early as she can remember. As soon as she learned to write, she devoted the newfound ability to poetry. Nowadays she continues writing and publishing poems as well as prose. But simultaneously the images she associated with her poetry sought to unfurl through painting. Recently, she made a decisive step into the realm of art that crushed any previous doubts she had. Whenever she grabs a brush, the painting starts creating itself. In these moments, she merely becomes the middleman between the physical and the metaphysical worlds. To her, it’s like a silent poem, unveiling itself through art.

 Her art made a first public appearance during the digital Expometro exhibition on NYC’s Times Square.Her work is currently on display at the Perpetual Exhibition Influx Gallery in London..
