Voortdurende verkenning

Mijn stijl wordt gekenmerkt door het vermogen om onder de huid te kijken. Componeren met kleuren, die tegendraads of toch juist in verhouding met elkaar staan, en structuren die diepte creeëren is wat een grote rol speelt in mijn werk. De gelaagdheid die daardoor ontstaat is een weerspiegeling van de diepte van het leven zelf. 

Meegezogen in deze abstracte, fantasievolle en altijd kleurrijke wereld probeer ik verbinding te maken met de vroegste vormen van zelfexpressie van de mens en een sterk gevoel van emotionele impact en energie te creëren. 

Dit streven om samenhang te brengen in  beeldtaal, die harmonieus maar ook ontwrichtend is, onderzoekt nieuwe vormen en paden en geeft tegelijkertijd een klassiek gevoel, waarbij de spanning tussen traditie en vernieuwing in evenwicht wordt gebracht.

My style is characterized by the ability to see under the skin. Composing with colors that are contrary or in proportion to each other, and structures that create depth is what plays a major role in my work. The layering that this creates is a reflection of the depth of life itself. Sucked into this abstract, imaginative and always colorful world, I try to connect with man's earliest forms of self-expression and create a strong sense of emotional impact and energy. This quest to bring coherence to visual language, which is harmonious yet disruptive, explores new forms and paths while providing a classical feel, balancing the tension between tradition and innovation.
