The title refers to the song “Forever Autumn”, performed by Justin Hayward and Jeff Lynn on the album “War of the Worlds” in 1978.
The work is part of an expanding series “Music 1960s-1990s”, where all titles refer to songtitles from this period.

Jan was born in 1960 and therefor raised with the music in this period more or less as a guideline. While working in his studio a corresponding playlist on Spotify or Deezer accompanies the creative process.
