Angel, female painting on barnwood /1/

Original painting on barnwood- an old wooden board, with wooden slats attached to form the figure's arms..or wings. Painted with acrylics, the paint is covered with varnish. There are cracks and holes from nails,  - I find that these details add history to this particular piece of wood. Other elements used in the project are metal decorative pieces, wooden prayer beads with a leather heart. 

There's a quote from the Sufi poet Rumi at the bottom.
